Missions update from Dennis Cornwell

Dear Lee & Donelle

Hope you’re both doing well. How’s’ your back Lee? We wanted to share with you how we seen Gods hand at work in Diouloulou and with the Jola people whom we had many opportunities to visit with as well as share Jesus with. We were blessed when we were allowed to show the Jesus film in The Jola Language in Karonjue a Jola village about 9 km from Diouloulou. We have been there now 3 times and each time we have shown the Jesus film, with a good turnout. We show the film in the front yard of Kebah Badji’s home, so this is shown in public.
We also go to a village named Bandionkoto, which is also all Jola and are allowed to show the Jesus film in the school during school hours, there are usually just young children. We do have some young men and women who hear this film in their language and are encouraged to watch and end up staying and watching the entire film which we think is good so as they will see and hear the invitation at the end of the film.
This trip was highlighted by the opportunity to visit a church in Bignona, a larger village which is about 45 km from Diouloulou there we met Sekou Diattia and his wife, they have been teaching and leading a church there for several years. We ask the believers of Diouloulou if they would like to go and visit the church. When we arrived they were surprised to see and meet other believers who were also Jola and from villages from around the region. We were blessed with being there to see the excitement and the encouragement that was so much needed for the entire group of believers. It always a blessing for Northridge fellowship to be involved with working the Jola people. We Pray for your health and Bouatoub.
