	Missions: Letter from Lee Kauffman Missionary to the Jola people of West Africa Subject: Apr. 2008 Praise and Prayer Update for the Jola-fonyi people Date: Tue 4/8/2008 12:19 AM Janke is the first of two wives of one of the elders in the village of Bougoutoub. She is leader of the women in the neighborhood where the Kauffman’s live. She has attended storying groups for many years and knows most of the Bible stories. She says she believes that Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior of the world but this seems to be “head” knowledge and not “heart” knowledge. Pray that God would reveal Himself to her, that she would know in her heart that Jesus is her Savior, and that she would ask Jesus into her heart before she dies. Please pray for the prayerwalk team from Jerome, Idaho that will be in Diouloulou April 14-24. The team consists of Matt, Gayle, Dennis, and Candy. Pray for their final preparations, for safe travels, that they will make all of their connections in flight and also on the ground in Senegal, for good health, that they would be in tune with what God has planned for them both at the high school and in the village, and that God would be preparing hearts of those they will come in contact with while in Senegal. Also pray for the care givers that will be taking care of their children while they are away on this prayerwalk. We praise God in advance for what He will be doing through this team in Diouloulou.
