	Missions: Letter from Lee Kauffman Missionary to the Jola people of West Africa Subject: Feb. 2008 Praise and Prayer Update for the Jola-fonyi people Date: Mon 2/4/2008 8:19 PM Yancouba completed a storying cycle with Lee many years ago and prayed to accept Jesus as his Savior, but there have been no outward signs that he had a true conversion. Shortly after this he got a teaching job in another village and when he is back in Bougoutoub he does not attend Bible studies or does not seem interested in hearing God’s word. His wife Senebou studies with the ladies and can always repeat the stories after hearing them just one time. She tells you that she believes that Jesus is God’s son and the Savior of the world but again there are no outward signs of any changes in her life. Please pray that God would touch this young couple in a real way by dreams or visions and that they would become faithful followers of Jesus, telling their son, other family members and friends about Him. Please continue to pray for the dental team in Koubalan through Feb. 8^th. Pray for their health, safety, and stamina as they treat many patients each day. Pray that the Jola people will see the love of Jesus in each one of the team members. Pray for their return travels that they can catch all of their flights, have a safe trip, and be able to rest on the airplanes. Pray for the evangelism follow-up that Burt and Suzanne will be doing in the coming weeks and months. The Jola team would like to thank all of you for being faithful prayer warriors for the Jola people, for our volunteers, and for the Jola team. Because of your prayers, the team is encouraged to continue working with the Jola even though the work is sometimes difficult, volunteers are led to come to Senegal to pray for the Jola people, help with their medical needs, and show Jesus’ love to them. Because of this we are beginning to see the Holy Spirit work in the hearts of the Jola. We pray God will richly bless you for your work among the Jola.
