	Missions: Letter from Lee Kauffman Missionary to the Jola people of West Africa Subject: Mar. 2008 Praise and Prayer Update for the Jola-fonyi people Date: Thursday, March 06, 2008 5:36 PM Abdoulaye is an older Muslim man who has studied the Bible for many years. Many times he has stated that Islam and Christianity is the same thing, but yet he will tell you that he has Jesus in his heart, even though he continues to follow the ways of Islam. He has been very interested in hearing “The Way of Righteousness” stories. Please pray that he will understand that the word of God from the Bible is the truth, that Jesus is the only way to receive eternal life, and that he would accept Jesus as his personal Savior. Thank you for praying for the dental clinics. They went very well. They treated 211 people in 8 days. Ryle, Marilyn and Debbie were tired as they returned home to Alaska. Their prayer and ours is that the people who received physical healing would now turn to Jesus and receive spiritual healing. Pray that the patients will have visions of Jesus. Pray that the “Way of Righteousness” tapes they heard would continue to play in their heads and hearts leading them to faith in Jesus. Pray as we visit them that they will be open to not only hear the Gospel but also be ready to believe. Michael has been praying that more would come and participate in the Bible study that he is a part of. Last week two young men, Solomon and Isaac, came to the Schmitz’s house asking if there was somewhere they could study the Bible. They will be joining the Bible study on Wednesday afternoons. We praise God that they have come and are seeking to know more. Pray that they will believe in Jesus and choose to follow Him.
