Subject: Praise and Prayer Request for the Jola-fonyiThank you for praying for the Dental team that came in late January early February. The team stayed healthy, we had safe travels, and the dentist was able to see 252 people in Koubalan and Bougoutoub. Air Senegal was not traveling to Ziguinchor because of some technical problems BUT the Lord worked it out so that the team could fly to Cap Skirring and we only arrived 2 ½ hours later than planned on the first day of clinics. We were also blessed to get Dr. and Janet Key on a New Tribes flight from the Casamance to Dakar so that they did not have to make the long trip by land. We could truly feel God's presence each and every day and we praise God for such faithful prayer warriors. Dr. Key treated many people with serious dental problems and please join us in praying that God will heal their bodies. By this event and the Bible stories they heard at each clinic we pray they would be drawn closer to Jesus.
Each day at the clinics, we prayed with every patient before they were treated. They also heard Bible stories on cassette while they waited to be treated. Pray that God's Word would be in their hearts and they would know without a doubt that Jesus is God's Son and the Savior of the world.
Lee and Sekou will be visiting Soly and his family in the coming month. Please pray that he and his family will hear God's word with their ears, believe God's word in their hearts, and believe that Jesus is God's Son and their Savior.
One day at Koubalan the people waiting to be seen were asked, "Why do you think God is good?" Several people responded by saying that God is good because he provides for us, but MT, who you have been praying for, responded by saying, "because God sent us His Son to forgive us our sins and to save us". Thank you for praying for MT and for his boldness as he shared with the group his belief in Jesus for the first time.
